Daniel Anderson is a member of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP's corporate practice group.
Dan’s practice is principally focused on representing leading investment banks, commercial banks, and public and private companies in capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, including high-yield and investment-grade debt securities, syndicated and pro-rata institutional loans, and asset-based lending facilities. He represented the financing sources in numerous acquisitions, including the $18.9 billion acquisition of CA Technologies by Broadcom Inc., the $10.7 billion acquisition of Symantec Corporation’s enterprise security business by Broadcom Inc., the $3.6 billion acquisition of Verizon Communications Inc.’s colocation services business by Equinix, Inc., the $2.2 billion acquisition of Education Realty Trust, Inc. by Greystar Student Housing Growth and Income Trust, and the leveraged acquisitions of Ultimate Software Group, Change Healthcare, and Electrical Components International. Dan also advised Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. in the financing of its $2.5 billion acquisition of Itiviti Holding AB. He has represented 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc., Airgas, Inc., Arch Capital Group Ltd., Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., and Freedom Mortgage Corporation in capital markets and bank finance transactions.
Dan also advises domestic and foreign companies on governance, disclosure and compliance matters. He has experience in a variety of industries, including healthcare, technology, software, media and telecommunications, mortgage lending and commercial real estate, and natural resources.
