Associate - Regulatory Licensing (Digital Assets & Financial Services)
Cahill, Gordon, & Reindel (UK) LLP) is seeking a lawyer with a strong background in financial services and capital markets, with a passion for digital assets and innovative technologies. You'll work on regulatory matters within the EU & UK frameworks, particularly on regulatory authorization processes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regulatory support and advice under EU frameworks such as the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II), the Payment Services Directive II (PSD II) and Electronic Money Directive II (EMD II)
- Provide regulatory support and advice under the corresponding UK frameworks
- Act as the liaison person between the client and the relevant competent authority
- Manage and supervise the regulatory approval processes throughout
- Draft and review agreements, policies, procedures, and other client-requested documentation including those pertinent to regulatory approval processes
Qualifications & Skills
- Current residence in London
- Background in financial services and capital markets, both educational and professional
- Demonstrable passion for practicing in the emerging field of digital assets law
- Excellent drafting skills and ability to produce legally complete documents, policies, procedure, and reports
- Strong client relationship management and effective communication across various channels

Banking and Capital Markets - Counsel
We are seeking English Law qualified solicitors for a counsel position in Cahill’s London office for our Banking & Capital Markets practice group. Candidates should have at least seven years of post-qualification experience in bank lending work, with substantial exposure to syndicated leverage finance transactions. Experience in acquisition finance and related commitment processes as well as intercreditor arrangements is preferable.

Required Qualifications:
- English qualified lawyer holding the necessary practice certificate
- Seven years post-qualification experience
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills and a strong academic background
