Michael A. Dvorak

Mike Dvorak represents leading investment banks, commercial banks, and institutional investors in a range of financing transactions, including syndicated institutional loans, leveraged buyouts, high yield debt securities, equity securities, and loan commitments.

Mike has represented the financing sources in numerous acquisition-related financings, including TPG’s investment in DirecTV in connection with its spinoff from AT&T, Apollo’s acquisition of Cox Media Group, and Avolon’s acquisition of C2 Aviation Capital.

Mike has also represented the initial purchasers and underwriters in securities offerings for issuers such as Churchill Downs, Lamar Media, Kronos International, and FactSet Research. He has represented the lead arrangers and agents in loan financings for Cushman & Wakefield, Resorts World Las Vegas, Talen Energy, CONSOL Energy, and Forward Air.

Mike has experience practicing in a variety of industries, including gaming, media and communications, energy, aerospace, industrials, and real estate. He has practiced at Cahill since his graduation from Columbia Law School.
