Nick Rodriguez represents leading investment banking firms and commercial banks on a broad range of corporate financing transactions, with a focus on leveraged finance transactions involving secured and unsecured high-yield debt securities, syndicated institutional loans, and asset-based lending facilities.

Nick has represented the financing sources in a number of acquisition-related financings, including the acquisitions of VMware, Inc., CA Technologies and Symantec Corporation’s enterprise security business by Broadcom, Inc., the acquisition of The Michaels Companies, Inc. by Apollo Global Management, the acquisition of UKG Inc. (f/k/a The Ultimate Software Group) by Hellman & Friedman, the acquisition of HD Supply’s Waterworks division by Clayton Dubilier & Rice, and the acquisitions of McGraw Hill, Jostens Inc. and other portfolio companies by Platinum Equity.

Nick has also represented the initial purchasers and underwriters in securities offerings for companies such as Fox Corporation, Boyd Gaming Corporation, Cumulus Media New Holdings Inc., and Builders FirstSource, Inc. In addition, Nick has represented the lead arrangers and agents in loan financings for companies such as Wynn Resorts Finance, LLC, Dole PLC, and Prestige Brands, Inc.

Nick has practiced in a variety of industries, including gaming, industrials, real estate, healthcare, retail, technology, and telecommunications.

He began his practice at Cahill after graduating from Rutgers Law School, magna cum laude, where he was the Editor-in-Chief, Newark, of the Rutgers University Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif
