Scott Singer is an associate in the New York office of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP where he focuses his practice on litigation matters with an emphasis on internal investigations, securities & regulatory enforcement, securities litigation, and white collar defense. Scott also has extensive experience as a pro bono attorney, representing clients in a range of matters including immigration proceedings and appellate immigration advocacy, special needs educational work, custodial and matrimonial litigation on behalf of abused women, and advising military veterans on corporate formation in New York.
Scott assists in advising global companies and their officers, directors, and board committees, focusing on internal investigations and inquiries by the DOJ, SEC and other governmental agencies and self-regulatory organizations, compliance counseling, white-collar defense, and securities litigation. He represents clients before government agencies in criminal and regulatory investigations and enforcement actions relating to securities fraud, earnings management, anti-money laundering matters. He also has experience conducting internal investigations and assisting multinational companies in assessing and enhancing their regulatory compliance programs.
