CFTC Enhances Whistleblower Protections

On May 22, 2017, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced substantive enhancements to its rules governing the filing and administration of whistleblower claims, including significant amendments designed to prevent retaliation against persons filing such claims. The new rule will become effective sixty days after the date of their publication in the Federal Register.
