Anirudh Bansal Speaks at the 2018 ACES Compliance Summit

On Tuesday, April 17, 2018, Anirudh Bansal spoke on the panel “A Conversation on the Recent Divergence between Domestic Bribery and FCPA Precedents” at the 2018 ACES Compliance Summit in Washington D.C. He was joined on the panel by three in-house counsel;, Maureen Dollinger of Barclays, Jane Levine of Sotheby’s and Lee Renzin of HSBC. The panel discussed recent decisions in domestic bribery cases and compared them with the language of recent FCPA settlements and examined the root of those differences. The panel also discussed the business implications of this divergence, including the challenges in developing best practices for creating compliance programs in this environment.
