Cahill partners, Brian Markley and Brock Bosson, spoke at the Corporate Counsel General Counsel Conference held at the New York Marriott Marquis on September 25 and 26, 2019.
Brian’s panel, Biggest Challenges Facing the Modern GC, discussed the general counsel’s evolving role, the business challenges they face in risk management, compliance and regulation across different industries, and how they are dealing with the pressures that are keeping them up at night. Brian was joined by Eric Dinallo of Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, Dave Kerstein of Validity Finance, James Sheehan of the New York State Department of Law and moderator Steve Kovalan of ALM Intelligence.
Brock’s panel, Reputational Risk Management & Crisis Response in the Global Economy, discussed the importance of reputation protection. It also covered how to manage organizational reputation risk and craft an action plan for response. Brock was joined by Brian Doran of Investors Bancorp, Inc. and Investor Bank, and Genie Gavenchak of News Corp.
