Cahill Represents Lead Arrangers in $650 Million Credit Facilities for American Commercial Lines

Cahill represented Bank of America, as administrative agent, and also represented the lead arrangers in connection with a $450,000,000 Term Loan B Credit Facility and a $200,000,000 Term Loan C Credit Facility for Commercial Barge Line Company, a subsidiary of American Commercial Lines. Proceeds from the facilities were used to pay a dividend, to refinance existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes. Established in 1915 and now operating a fleet of approximately 2,300 barges powered by over 100 towboats, American Commercial Lines is the nation's second largest liquid cargo barge line and the third largest dry cargo barge line.
