Cahill Gordon Elects Four New Partners Following Strong Year in 2016

Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP announced today that four new partners have been elected to the partnership effective January 1, 2017: Brockton B. Bosson, Ariel Goldman, Sheila C. Ramesh and Sean P. Tonolli.

Litigation and Corporate Governance & Investigations
Mr. Bosson, Ms. Ramesh and Mr. Tonolli have been elected partners in Cahill’s litigation and regulatory practices.
Mr. Bosson’s practice focuses on regulatory compliance, investigations, enforcement actions and corporate governance issues involving alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, securities fraud, trade sanctions, anti-money laundering and cybersecurity matters. Mr. Bosson has also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and as a former Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Western District of Louisiana.
Ms. Ramesh’s practice is focused on securities litigation and white collar defense with a special emphasis on the defense of leading financial institutions in complex securities litigation and in parallel investigations.
Mr. Tonolli’s practice is principally focused on regulatory enforcement and in connection with investigations by the DOJ, SEC and other governmental agencies. Mr. Tonolli has over a decade of experience as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia and the District of Columbia, where he earned the prestigious John Marshall Award from the Attorney General for Outstanding Legal Achievement for a Trial of Litigation, the Department of Justice’s highest honor for attorneys.

Mr. Goldman has been elected a partner in Cahill’s market-leading capital markets and lending practice where he represents leading investment banks, commercial banks and other financial institutions on a broad range of leveraged finance and other financing transactions.
