Cahill Sponsors The Door’s Joining in Justice Reception

On March 30, Cahill sponsored the Joining in Justice fundraising event hosted by The Door Legal Services Center. Attending the event were counsel Artemis Anninos and Peter Mazzone, and associates Taylor Elicegui, Connor O’Shea, Scott Singer, and Jehan Slavin, all of whom have provided pro bono representation in matters for The Door. For years, Cahill attorneys have provided pro bono legal assistance to young persons through The Door’s Emancipation Clinic and their Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (“SIJS”) Program. Through the SIJS Program, our attorneys represent young people who are abandoned, abused, or fleeing violence elsewhere in the world in their applications for lawful permanent residency in the United States. Our partnership with The Door continues as Cahill Summer Associates will be working on Emancipation Clinic and SIJS matters this summer.
